The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) SouthEast Regional Fly In (SERFI) is 7-8-9 October 2005 at Middleton Field, Evergreen, Alabama. Antique Aircraft, Classics, a few war birds, lots of homebuilt aircraft on display and fly bys. However, the best part is meeting people. People who are passionate about aviation. From the 13 yr old "Ypung Eagle" who wants to grow up and fly the Apache, Raptor, Hornet, to the old timer who flew in WWII Korea, Vietnam (We're not that old yet). The guys with tons of knowledge who lived our history and have the tales to tell. Join us for the Saturday & Sunday Morning Pancake breakfast, the Saturday Evening awards banquet. Join us for a weekend of grass roots aviation.

The Annual EAA Southeastern Regional Flyin (SERFI) will be held next week, Oct 7-9, 2005, at Middleton Field (KGZH), Evergreen Alabama. This will be a weekend long gathering of homebuilt, kit built, antique, and classic aircraft and aviators (yup, there are antique and classic aviators also). a few (but usually not too many warbirds). This is real grass roots aviation at it's best.
This is not an in your face airshow, there will be no great (nor any not so great) aerobatics shows, no thunder ripping military flybys. There will be fly bys of the classics of aviation, the old Fairchilds, Ryans, Aeronca's, etc of years past, America's aviation history.
For event information, Fly In Proceedures, Radio Frequencies, Transportation, Lodging, food Information, visit the SERFI Website at www.serfi.org
Evergreen, Alabama is located about 70 miles south of Montgomery, Alabama on I-65. Come on up for the day or for the weekend.
