Maxwell Air Force Base Flight Training Center and Aero Club welcomes all Military Personnel and their family members. We offer an affordable flight training Program and aircraft rental. As a part 141 flight school, military personnel can use their VA benefits for post-private training. Loans for aviation training are available through Sallie Mae.
We currently operate a fleet of Cessna C-172s, Piper PA28RT-201 Arrow IV, Piper PA-23 Aztec C, and a Cessna C-310R. Other aircraft such as Cessna C-182, C-172RG, and C-182RG are in the planning stage.
Our instructor staff is highly experienced. Full time and part time instructors; a couple of young guys, a few grey-beards; Military and civilian. All instructors are CFII.
