I will be in Army ROTC and have hopes of becoming a chopper pilot. I have some questions that have been bugging me for a while and hope to find some answers here.
1. I have extremely mild ptosis, as in it just bothers me when one eye is a mm off from the other. It doesn't affect my vision. Would it disqualify me if I had cosmetic surgery done to the area (eyelid/eyebrow) around my eye?
2. I think I may have 20/40 or 20/50 vision, if a chopper pilot needs glasses how does it work out during flight? Are they allowed to put in contacts of do they wear glasses?
