i'm currently an e-4 specialist 63b mechanic, i'm in the stages of applying for WO. my biggest concern right now is my security clearance. i know i can apply for an interim secret in the mean while, but how far will that take me unitl i need my actually secret clearance? will i be able to graduate WOCS?

your interum should be ok. it can take up to a year or so to get your final clearance. it is not that it takes a ton of time but there is a huge backlog in the system. It really depends on the area your in and how busy OPM is. G/L
