Already rated but now looking for that civilian fixed Wing License? Check if there are any military aero clubs/flying activities nearby. For the folks at Ft Rucker, Maxwell AFB Flight Training Center, Maxwell AFB, AL. (about an hours drive north) is a 14CFR141 flight training center/aero club. We have a full complement of single and multi engine aircraft, and provide training from Private to Airline Transport Pilot. Aircraft rates are reasonable. send me an email for more information.
