1.  Reduce stress by:
a.  Train frequently at night.
b.  Thoroughly plan and prepare for each mission.
c.  Remain physically fit and maintain a proper diet.
d.  Adhere to the unit crew endurance program.
2.  Commanders will design a crew endurance program tailored to their unit mission and include it in the standing operating procedures (SOP).
3.  Commanders should consider the advice of the flight surgeon and aviation safety officer in setting limits for NVG operations or periods.
