I`m UH-60 pilot in south KOREA. I have question about air drop. We had accident during drop bundle in UH-60. Static line of parachute contacted with main rotor. At FM 55-220 chapter 17-8 shows this statement (Container loads with breakaway static lines are not rigged for airdrop from the troop door(side door) of cargo and transport-type aircraft). Is it meaning UH-60 can`t doing airdrop mission. If this is right I want know this reason. Please let me know.

A TMDE guy (35H) currently awaiting the SEP 05 board to see if I got selected for 153A. To all those pilots out there: Don't worry we always calibrate those torque wrenches and Night Vision Test sets better than the standard for you guys.
