new guy here,
looking for any information pertaining to interservice transfers from another branch into Army aviation.

to be specific, how is the transition from flying for one branch of the service handled and what are some of the flight prerequisites required to make that transition? will total flight time, prior qualifications and designations be taken into account? will a pilot be required to go all the way through helo training or is there a revised syllabus for transitioning pilots? how is selection into respective communities (AH/Scout/CH/UH) handled? many questions here.

all information, no matter how basic, is greatly appreciated.

It would all depend on what ratings / qualifications you already have. Are you a military pilot already? Rotary Wing or Fixed Wing? That is pertinent information to you situation.
