Ok here is the new question, or questions actually:
I am a civilian applying for WOFT, and I know I will find this out when I sign my contract at MEPS (someday), but how much time can I expect between BCT, WOCS, and flight training. I was also wondering what kinds of subjects I should be studying to prepare for WOCS and/or flight school. Up til now I haven't studied much besides the basics for the AFAST. Any other good reading material out there, besides the obvious (blackhawk down, etc.)?
Also, what really goes on at WOCS? I haven't been able to find anything more than a short list of general subjects. What is a typical training day like, for instance? |

| Not sure how much time between basic and WOCS. As for WOCS don't worry about it it is easier than basic will be. Check out the Army's Warrant Officer Career Center web page. You wont need to study for WOCS. As for Flight school you can check out www.aviationtrainer.com this will give you a little info to study if you want. When you finish WOCS you will walk across the street and check into flight school the same day then the wait will be about 2 weeks to a month before you pick up in a class, this is based on how well you do academic wise at WOCS. |

| I was told that I would go to a Boot Camp that would be "backed up" so that after Boot I would have no more than a week before WOCS. |
